Are you expensive
My main aim is to try my honest best to tend to all your financial needs. We are definitely not the most expensive company on the market, and we pride ourselves on an outstanding, bespoke, high-quality finish. However, this doesn't mean we're the cheapest either. We position ourselves in the middle price range bracket, striving our hardest to accommodate your budget.
How long is my project going to take
Depending on the size and style of your build, for example, one of our smaller cosy studios will take between 5 and 7 days from the start date to completion. A medium-sized room will take between 7 and 14 days, while one of our larger models may take up to a maximum of 21 days.
Do I need to be home during my build
No, at Bear, we aim to carry out our work with very little disruption to your normal life. Myself and my team are very courteous and aware of our clients' needs. So, you can go about your day-to-day activities without the hassle of having to take time out to attend to us. We would need access to your property on one of the days during the project to power up your garden room, but we can discuss and arrange this within a convenient timeframe slot that suits you.
Will you be doing any other jobs while my project is being constructed?
Absolutely not. From our first point of contact our guarantee and dedication will be Soley on your project. I pride myself on delivering you the best hassle free experience to offer. Meaning I will allocate the correct amount of time for your build, being on site each day from start to completion
Do I need planning permission for my dream room
Yes and no.
Any room measuring 30 square meters and 2.500 meters in height or smaller DOES NOT require planning permission. Additionally, due to our non-combustible materials (steel frame), it can be placed as close to your boundaries as you wish.
If you wish to go larger than the specified size, we have options. Firstly, we can apply for planning permission on your behalf, with members of our team handling this process for you, thus removing any unwanted work from you, the client. Alternatively, if you maintain a distance of 2 meters from each boundary (your fences), you can build larger structures.
